Best way to buy PSA 10 quality cards

I am trying to do the impossible task of getting a PSA 10 set from a certain artist. Lucky for me, most of the cards are not expensive. I am wondering what the best way to get ungraded PSA 10 quality cards. My current strategy is to buy 10 to 15 from troll and toad of each of the cards and then graded the highest quality 1 or 2. This artist is pretty new so all cards are Sun and Moon or late XY. Do you guys have any better strategies for doing this? Thanks

You can probably drop a WTB thread here looking for gem mint copies of newer bulk cards. Then you can compensate them fairly for their time to pregrade the cards for you.

I would try finding a local card shop and then you can look through the cards yourself.

If you want it to be easy, buy some Japanese cards from that artist

The problem with Troll and Toad is they don’t protect their cards… especially if we’re talking low value product. You risk getting damaged cards even if they’re pack fresh… Unless you specifically asked them to at least sleeve/top load them?

I’m pretty sure some of the guys here would be happy to help.

This is the best answer. A lot of people on here open a lot of new product and it wouldn’t be much work to sort out 4-5 nice copies of each card especially if they are usually bulk and the person is only getting 2 cents a piece for them. Just ask for a few solid copies of each and then you can screen them yourself and send out whatever you think is necessary. Honestly with new non holos it should be easy to have a 90%+ 10 rate if you are diligent in pre grading.

Just don’t offer 5 cents a card…

This is what I did when the evo zard card out. Went out all over SoCal and found the best ones. I also picked up the NM/Mint ones if they were cheap.
