Is it worth to open a base booster box uk or packs for collecting the set or better keep it sealed?

In addition to the post above, did I open a UK booster box and all the holos were 1999 holos and not the UK 1999-2000 holos.
But you’ve never know if you don’t open

In that case that would be a big bummer to open a box like that. But I think if you pull clean big ones 1999-2000 it’s worth it. If you collect the set for yourself. But a big risk offcourse speaking of value

Could you compare the 1999 Holos you got from the Base2000 box with ones from an unlimited box? I’ve gotten reports that they may actually have different card stock and might be another varient in a sense

By this time I was watching @gemmintpokemon and researching online in terms of the differences so I took a risk and opened it. I still have my box along with the wrapper inside it. But pulling that Charizard and having it come back as a 10 made it worthwhile. Below are all the PSA 10s and Blatoise PSA 9, I have so far from my collection 4th print. I hope to purchase a few more this year to complete it but one that still eludes me is the clefairy 4th print, need 4 more.

I don’t think the pics came though, but it’s rather intriguing you got some 1999-2000 holos in your box, as not sometimes doesn’t happen.

Nope I’m from the east coast but the seller was from the UK. Mentioned to me he had the UK edition sealed in his closest for a very long time. Also, I can see the pictures on my desktop but not on my phone. If not my IG is Halycon330 I have a pic on there with my whole 4th print holo set thus far PSA 10’s and 9’s.

I bought a UK booster box last May and I was lucky enough to pull the big 3 among others and get Charizard/Venusaur back as 10’s, Blastoise as a 9 among others as 9’s all 4th prints. I consider these cards to be my personal holy grails because I pulled and graded them myself. Even though the differences can be viewed by some as subtle changes compared to the unlimited versions, it’s still unique in their own right. I pulled the trigger on getting this box because I wanted to get something a little different from the regular base unlimited, glad I did and haven’t looked back!

I can post some pics of my 4th print PSA cards holo’s if anyone is curious or interested.

Hahaha exactly only 127 atm but I bet the percentage for 4th print within that pool is like in the low single digits, same with Hitmochan but clefairy and chansey much harder cause of the silver background and the amount of holo there is more prone to scratches.

That’s a sweet pickup for sure once if ever these sets get more recognized they will shoot up in value imo.

Perhaps, but I’ve never sent any to PSA before, but I possibly might, though I may simply just live in hope that PSA follows suit with with 1999-2000 as they did with Shadowless ~
