Bad Ebay etiquette

The seller ashleigh33391 is maybe someone you might want to add to your blocklist so you don’t end up accidentally buying from them. This seller canceled many orders from multiple customers for the Pikachu delivery promo. I think it’s a scummy thing to wait the day they say they’re going to ship and cancel that day. If they would’ve canceled sooner I could’ve bought another copy sooner. Personally I’m not surprised or mad that this happened but rather disappointed. The sellers feedback did take a hit from 100% to 92%.

Hopefully I’ll just buy a copy today that another seller has in hand.

Edit- The seller just ended all their listings they had up.

Theres a thread for this, ebay garbage

Isn’t sour grapes the appropriate place since this is about a seller? Ebay garbage is about listings that could be considered garbage.

Ebay garbage is just about general bad practices and behavior on ebay. So that would definitely be an appropriate place to post this. Keeps it congregated to one thread where people post anything from auctions to seller buyer interactions. I don’t believe theres any rule it has to be there, just saying I think its better since its basically like the market mega thread without the rule you have to post there.

Ok, makes sense. I only looked at that thread a couple times with the 3 years I’ve been reading on this forum lol. I didn’t know specific experiences with sellers were allowed on that thread. I always assumed it was for people posting listings of fake cards or super high priced damaged cards. Now I know for future reference, Thanks.

Was just mentioning because I wasn’t sure if you knew about that thread. Appreciate the heads up of a bad seller to the community!

Op you are completely fine making your own thread. Especially since this seller has 10 negative feedback in one month. Thanks for the heads up!

another similar - www.ebay.com/usr/japangoods-tokyo

I think this is a lesson in pre-orders for both buyer and seller. Its exactly why I never offer them unless I have in writing they are secured.

agreed, and same boat

The only good thing about my situation is I just bought the promo again and now I get the brass ornament. I also bought vivid voltage booster box to feel better lol. This was a great learning experience for me about pre-ordering cards, Im glad it happened on something this cheap rather than a more expensive item.
