@drewcastle Still a big fan of Japanese Base Machamp? Familiar with the no rarity version of that card? TCA sold a PSA 9 of it for $1300 in August. There are a few PSA 8’s currently listed on eBay within your budget.
Machamp in general is usually decently achievable as it’s not a super popular specie.

Yeah I’ll always be a big fan of base Machamp, I have a few mint copies of him but I don’t yet have the no rarity variety, could be an option thanks for the awesome suggestion.
I’m also a big Magikarp fan and I just pulled the trigger on a CGC graded Japanese shining magikarp so I’m looking forward to that arriving in the mail.
