I wanted to ask how one would factor in the overall price of a master set or compete set (no reverse holos). I’m asking this question because I’m interested in eventually purchasing an emerging powers complete set NM/M but I don’t know how or what to base my pricing off of. Would it be through TCGPlayer or would there be a different way sellers base their pricing off of. I have looked at some listings but it seems a lot of them go for $100 plus even without reverse holos and the cards on TCG Player for that set wouldn’t add up to that. Thanks again!
Not sure how much my methods for pricing out master sets will help, especially for an older set like Emerging powers, but I keep track of all my SM & SWSH master sets using TCGplayer (inputted all the V cards and above) to know the minimum price of the set. So I’d recommend figuring out what conditions are you overall comfortable collecting in your emerging powers master set (NM, LP, MP, etc.) then logging it into TCGplayer starting with the Full Arts and Holos. Should give you a good sense of the “floor” of what a master set would go for!
Happy to share my TCGplayer Lists for the SM & SWSH master sets if that’d help you somehow!
No this isn’t a joke lol I’m just looking for an easy set that I can buy complete and not cost me an arm and a leg. I only collect EX, DPPt, and BW card sets and I think this would be a good start. Obviously only raw cards, I don’t collect graded.
