Hey Guys,
This is one for the ozzies!
I’m in Australia on a working holiday. I have two questions one pokemon related one not.
Are there any good trading card stores in Melbourne? Or any of the other big cities?
Also any tips for job searching?
Thanks
Buy some Antidote and Super Repel at the local Pokémart.
Because everything in Australia can and will try to kill you
Not an Aussie here, but you 100% sure your Visa allows you to work?

Shit I just ran out of super repel! A Ekans appeared!
I’m pretty sure the visa does as it’s called a working holiday visa
Job market is pretty tough, your best bet will likely be clubs and pubs.
There should be quite a few places to stock up on TCG items. Don’t let the price tag blow you away though!

Job wise, you could try picking fruit. I think there’s always something that needs harvesting. Be careful though, as lots of farmers try and screw you over.
Start A Pokemon Shop so all the Aussies can buy sealed product for a normal price!

Yo, welcome to Aus!
There isn’t much in the way of purchasing singles in Melbourne tbh, but there are plenty of places around that sell trading cards! I’m not a Melbourne native but I do visit every now and then.
But yeah, a lot of visa holders of that class will go into picking fruit - though you have to live on the farm to do it, ahaha.
Take care, make sure you pack plenty of RAID for bugs. Don’t touch any spiders or reptiles, and beware magpie season in September!

omg gary.
magpies are a type of bird that are the absolute devil.
Like they attack people? Are they indigenous to Australia cause I never heard of them?
We have them in the UK too but they don’t attack people?! I think I saw a video of them attacking people on bikes in Australia though somewhere. In fairness I feel like there’s other animals I’m more worried about

Has to be first time I’ve heard anyone suggesting magpies can be violent, the ones we have in Finland are totally harmless.
