hello everyone !!
my name is robo and this is my first time ever using a forum… this community seems very sweet and I wanted to share my own Pokémon collections and passion.
currently I am studying to become an Entomologist [insect scientist] and have a great love for Pokémon. my goal is to complete a Master Set of every card of every bug Pokémon! my current focus are the Caterpie and Weedle lines as they are the most nostalgic for me and caterpillars/larvae are my favorite. I also like technology, marine biology, and botany, so on the side I collect Steel, sea creature, and Grass Pokémon. magnemite, porygon, and bellsprout are probably my favorites!
I hope that I’ll spend more time in this community and settle in. I’ll get pictures of my collection at some point but its late right now haha. It’s nice to meet all of you!
UPDATE (5/2/26):
i have some photos of my bug collection, just two of my complete pages and some of my favorite cards. my binders are set up so that i have open spaces for missing cards so they arent exactly pretty haha. another thing i forgot to mention is that i also plan to turn the TGC Pocket exclusive bug cards into proxies for my binder, i think it would be really nice especially since some of the more neglected bugs have cards in the game.
my beautiful girlfriend has bought and made me a few pieces of caterpie merchandise which i hope to show in the future, right now i can only share this buggie keychain from @EmmyJaneArts on Etsy! isnt it so cute??
lastly, as mentioned in the replies, i am also drawing my own bug cards for my collection which i will be turning into physical cards/proxies! you can view them below.

after reorganizing my collection, I realized that I currently have 4 completed sets!

im very excited because im only missing one or two cards for a lot of my pokemon!! my goal is in reach.
yesterday I somehow forgot to include my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE card in my collection, this little guy! my girlfriend bought him for me at a convention 
isn’t she amazing !? I love this card sooo much.

UPDATE (5/4/26):
good afternoon everyone!
after doing more sorting and searching for some specific cards using this amazing cameo guide, I have two new cards to add to my collection! I’m sure I have more buried somewhere but I’ll worry about that later - I’m a bit ill today.
I found this angry Wigglytuff with a very anxious Weedle in the back, and realized that this Venusaur promo that I was planning on selling actually has a Scyther in the bottom! I guess I was always too focused on the Venusaur. I’m definitely keeping it now
this is my desk right now - its not very pretty but you can see all six of my binders. the ones on the left are for my bugs and the others are for miscellaneous collections, childhood cards and bulk cards that I like. I really need to get better binders for the ones in plastic right now…

I found more cameo cards today !! two more for my collection another update is that I will have a completed ribombee set soon !! my girlfriend is giving me her Lillie’s Ribombees full art card which is the last one i need 
im so excited to have my first complete line !!!
