Asking me to accommodate AFTER winning auction

That’s exactly what it is. 2 completely different worlds. I’d argue the majority of Pokemon collectors hardly even know how to play the game. Condition means everything.

It’s pretty much a graded card market at this point, so if you’re selling raw cards you have to give as much info as possible if you want to maintain a good rep.

That seller you linked wouldn’t do very well if they dealt Pokemon cards with the same listing practices. I can’t even see the ink spot or the fingernail dent they’re talking about. It’s nice that they’re honest about it, but can’t they take a minute to take some pictures when they’re listing a $10k card?

I personally take good pictures of front and back, and if any damage on the card does not show up in the picture, I will describe that, but other than that I just list ‘condition as pictured’, I used to list what condition I thought the card was, but after way too many returns, I changed the way I list, and haven’t had a return or a return request and its been probably a year
