Pokemon is very upset about the signed Illustrator being sold for such a high price at Sothebys. It’s angered Pokemon execs and sent rumblings throughout. I’ve received multiple private communications a statement will be made soon that is written by Creatures.
I’m assuming this post may be from some sort of direct communication from them to all artists. Unsure, but the timelines do make sense.
