Anyone ever have BUYEE ship your goods to someone else?

Now that person is selling my item I paid for on EBAY.. I have not got a refund from BUYEE yet. I assume I will eventually get it but I want my card instead. The user has 0 reviews on ebay… very suspicious. Any ethical hackers wanna help lol I can prove the card was purchased by me.

Drop shipping listings on ebay are very common. They don’t actually have the item, they wait for someone to buy it, then buy it from Buyee and ship to the eBay buyer.

Could this be what you’re seeing?

No sorry, this is different. I have seen japanese sellers list items they do not have… in this case the item i purchased that arrived in the warehouse and I got pictures (requested them) was somehow shipped to someone else. and now MY ITEM is listed by another person who is def not the buyer. I have receipts, photos etc proving I bought it. And the prick on ebay is selling it and has 0 reviews acting like its his card.

That’s very weird. Did Buyee confirm to you they shipped your item to someone else, and you’re getting a refund?

If you’re being made whole, don’t think there’s anything that can be done about the other person selling it.

yeah, they supposedly shipped it to someone else. its just very suspicious it was the only high end item and that is the one that goes missing out of the 7 items.. its complete BS.. gonna see what I can do to get it back.

I remember something similar happened with fanatics (PWCC at the time) and a Mario Pikachu card, which they shipped to the wrong address.

If I recall it correctly, the person receiving a wrong item is not legally required to send it back to the right owner.

Unfortunately I highly suspect there’s nothing you can do, except asking for a fair and quick refund, since BUYEE has the responsibility here.

Dang.. that sucks. So unfair.. like if a bank sent a deposit to the wrong account I know they will fix it but i guess w/ an item like this its hard to get back. I still plan to make it hell for the POS w/ my item lol
appreciate your feedback!

Please don’t harass someone who accidentally got your package. Get that refund and move on.

Agree with @Dyl here. Going out of your way to harass this person is not going to be doing any good for anybody involved.

You could always reach out to the seller and explain the situation (with receipts, of course). If you paid near market price for the item, you could always just offer what you paid (or less, since they probably just want to offload the item, and you get a minor win by getting the item for less) after you get your refund. In the end, you’d be paying the same amount to receive your item anyway; the flow of money would just be different. If you paid under market, still might be worth reaching out and seeing if you could work something out with the seller.
