What’s up E4, so I was looking through my stash of cards today when I stumbled upon something pretty cool. I found myself digging through my top loader binder after not opening it for a long time. In that binder I organized the original 151 Pokémon. The cool part is I only used WOTC cards from the Base, Fossil and Jungle sets.
After taking my sweet time looking through the binder I found some receipts from 2015 I kept in a binder sleeve. I was mind blown at what I had actually paid for MINT (10-8) condition cards. I’m talking about dirt cheap Holos, Uncommon and common Base, Fossil and Jungle cards. To put it in simpler terms I paid $283.59 (USD) for the three complete sets in mint condition. Given they were all unlimited I still think I got one of the best deals ever.
Now that I think back I quickly became very passionate about Pokémon after completing this goal. I love the Nostalgic feeling I get when I look through this binder. I was so obsessed with condition that the sleeves, top loaders, binder pages and even the binder is still in mint condition! I can proudly say that they even smell mint. Hahaha
I wonder if anyone has receipts from 1999
