97 Carddass Holo Question

I have held quite a few of the 97 carddass non-holos but this Zapdos is the first holo I’ve owned. It’s so different from the non-holos but I saw a post somewhere saying the holos were printed differently. So I was wondering, is it legitimate?

The card materials is very different and significantly more malleable and flimsy compared to the non holos, you can bend it and then bend it straight again very easily:

The back is also a slightly different color than the non-holos, and it’s very slightly bigger and the corners are slightly more rounded compared to the non-holos (zapdos is right behind the squirtle in the last picture).

My understanding is that that is correct - anytime Carddass prism’d a card they were very very flimsy.

Looks fine too me, I have a few prizms where the front sticker isn’t flush with the back.

Yeah if I understand it right, the holos are actually stickers you can peel

Prisms are stickers. Also fun fact, mew is the only holo/prism printed on card stock, so it is not a sticker and will feel like the non-holos. So don’t worry if you get mew and once again he feels different than he should. Welcome to the 97 carddass gang, it’s my favorite set.
