I’m just gonna take a pic of my screen. I’m using the good ol original N64 jankyness and all!
The only remaining aspect is prizes. I’m talking with a couple members about potential oversized vinyl prints of the winning photos. Let me know your thoughts and I’ll see what we can do!

I like this idea.
Further… if the winner happens to have used an actual N64 cart somehow arranging that cart to get shipped to a snap station owner for original printouts would be about as legit as it could get. Now that I think of it, if I’m able to get a decent photo on my own system I may just have to look into paying someone to do that for my own photo regardless…

Never played the game before, and I must say I’ve already seen some weird things… Like a Zubat carrying a Pikachu; two Pidgey that murdered a Meowth; a Koffing chasing a Jigglypuff; or an Electrode exploding to knock down an Electabuzz…
Anyway, I might try again later, but here is my entry for now. 
Btw, I thought the Nintendo 64 was called like that for its CPU, not it’s amount of pixels, rofl…

It should be straightforward to take a screenshot of your emulator screen and submit that. Does anyone have ideas for how to capture the N64 screen?
Also, any suggestions for the voting process would be appreciated. I was thinking each person votes for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner and those entries get 3, 2 and 1 points respectively. The winners are the entries with the most points. I also think the entries AND votes should remain anonymous until the end.

That voting process sounds good. If anyone has a paid version of pollanywhere, you can create a ranked choice poll, and images can easily be used as choices. Since it’s unlikely anyone has a paid version (for unlimited responses), Google forms can also work for ranked choice. In that case, I’m not sure if you can use images for choices as easily. A workaround might require a little photoshop/photo editing: create one image with all of the entries and assign each a letter or number that is used in the choices below. This image would be at the top of the form in the “instructions” or body of the form.
Or maybe there’s something even easier, but that’s what came to mind!
I would offer to be the point person on this, but with how things are right now, I’m not sure I could complete it in time.

It should be common courtesy, but maybe we should state that nobody shall vote for their own photo

For simplicity we should divide the forum up into geographical regions of varying size and population. Each region first gets to elect representatives. Let’s say each region gets at least two elected officials in charge of tallying and forwarding on those votes. One each based on being a region and 1+ more based on population of that region. That way some people’s votes get up to 3x the value of others based on where they live. Once each regions votes are turned in then the elected officials can bring those votes to the final vote to decide the winner. Each region gets to draw lines to divide their region into further sub regions and create rules as to whether they’d like the whole regions votes go towards the majority winner or to have them split as evenly as possible to represent the fraction of votes.
I mean… ranked choice sounds good.

Just played it for around 30 minutes and submitted my best pic. I really couldn’t have played any longer before those clunky controls would’ve given me a seizure

If you screenshot the emulator the camera focus icon, the camera roll and the take pic icon appears on the picture so it’s kind of lame. Only legit way is to take the photo guys haha
