I am going through a bunch of my old pokemon cards that I just picked up from my parents house
I have searched the internet high and low to try figure out the difference in value between the regular base set cards and the 1999-2000/4th print/ UK edition.
I have a pikachu, staryu, mystherbe (oddish), dark raticate, bulbasaur, magnemite, grimer, persian, osselait (cubone), eevee, meowth, and a couple more
Basically, are these actually worth anything different than a normal base set version of them?
Bummer I Was afraid of that. I am literally submitting 14 non holos with 1999-2000 to PSA right now along with a bunch of other stuff so this post was timely. I figured this was the case since they are the 8th and final unlimited printing.
And @kanesport15, the non holos are negligible in difference because they are in every 99 2000 pack from UK and Australia. Only the holos were in very few packs which were prospectively only from the 99 2000 POLAND release if I recall correctly. So that’s why the holos have some premium. 120 to 150% has been what I’ve seen typically.
The premiums’ll be the main three, but more so Charmander ~ Vulpix’s correction is still relatively unknown to many, but Devolution Spray is one to have in the Base 2000 set ~ Pikachu has seen quite an increase even before the dip of recently
