Hello guys I have abunch of first edition holo Yugioh cards. Abunch of holo dragon ones too. I’ll make a list when I get home. I went to Ebay to search values and on average each one is worth $2-$3 and their in mint condition on most of them. This almost doesn’t make sense to me compared to Pokemon. Anyone know much about yugioh cards value? And why I’m seeing such cheap results on cards from 25 years ago
The first yugioh cards were '99 or '00 if memory serves, and they weren’t TCG (Konami). Are you referring to these?
Or LOB, MRD, MRL, etc.?
Both generally would be more expensive than a few bucks a piece, to be certain. The less cared for commons in the first few TCG mainline sets would be cheap though, still at around that price.
@pbali How long ago did these come out? I’m curious if I just hold them five years like Pokemon the value will change. It makes no sense to sell cards worth less then $50
@jyscal I’m guessing if all these other cards that look sweet aren’t valuable I’m sure the black hole isn’t valuable either. I’ll have to look up the sets. Yugioh is confusing to me. I thought I could help a co worker sell them but it seems like it’s not even worth selling. There’s obviously plenty non Holo one’s I didn’t list but I was guessing holo’s would be the most expensive
Sorry but that’s essentially just bulk holos. Most of those are just from structure decks (theme decks in pokemon) so hard for there ever to be value. The others are just a variety of promos, holos from sets like Hidden arsenal (where every card in every pack is holo) or from reprint sets.
