Anyone know anything about the half size booster boxes? I’ve seen them in the UK in both a Post Office and a Tesco Express so I assume they are a legitimate wholesale product but theres barely any info on them anywhere. Heres an example on ebay with a valid EAN registered to Pokemon UKwww.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pokemon-TCG-Sword-Shield-Rebel-Clash-Sealed-Booster-Box-18-Packs-RRP-72/143642035267There also seems to be Spanish and German half sizes too, so perhaps a European product exclusively. But I can’t find them in Asmodee UK’s catalogue (The UK licesensed wholesaler). Or any other wholesalers so where do these come from? I’m mostly curious for info it seems like it would be a real hassle to collect these.

Wow, that’s really cool, I’ve never seen those before! I’d bet it’s a European exclusive as I haven’t seen or heard anything about them here stateside.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen them in English either lol, but if you just collect the box art, they’re readily available in most European languages on release, mostly German and Spanish from what I see.
Hold up, the bigger surprise here… your post offices sell Pokémon cards?

I’m in the UK and it a surprise to me too. My local post office just sells crisps and sauce’s to put on your kebab, I’d much prefer the Pokemon Cards

Funny enough I went to my local corner shop yesterday and I was suprised to see a box of these ther! They must be for smaller shops and get them to try them out.
I’ve seen them in a OneStop, I think they must be meant for smaller corner shops and newsagents. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one for sale online so that’s a pretty cool find!
I believe Portuguese boxes are ‘half boxes’ by default, but checking cardmarket it seems with Sword-Shield they been publishing half-size boxes in German and English as well.
They were privatised and sold off way under value to friends of the government. They exist now inside newsagents, either WHSmiths or family owned. WHSmiths often has weird stock my local which also has the post office inside it had a lot of mint Pikachu libre trainer kits just last month.

Only ones I’ve seen in person in English are SWSH base set onwards so may well be the English start point.

looks like a retail box like in GAME, WHSmiths, I am pretty sure I saw some in GAME today when I bought some value darkness ablaze blisters to get a free promo. If you check in with retailers they may have some in the back sealed waiting to go out on display once the current lot have sold.
