I don’t believe he was stating that was the new cost, but was offering knowledge to help the potential buyer know what could be going on behind the scenes. In buy threads, it is very hard (especially now) to get someone to release the cards due to the continued price increases.
I just got into aggressively buying in April after watching nearly every single SMPratte video through March. Things to note, you buy and sell at market, and sometimes you have to pay over what you “believe” is the market cost.
An example: I missed out on a PSA 10 Southern Island Mew for $2500 in April/May because I thought it was listed too high. Soon after the card jumped to over $4200. Because of my greed I eventually paid $4500 for it. Now, I doubt anyone will sell for under $10,000. It just depends how bad you want it, and what fits with your financial status.
Yeah, I am just being an idiot. I looked at the price Blaine’s zard is going for in PSA 9 and it makes 7,000$ look like a deal for PSA 10
I think PSA 9 blaine’s zard is around 4-5k now…

7,000 was probably a legit offer. I was operating under the assumption ’ no way did this card double in price in a week’ but I was proven wrong after researching the prices.
I made an assumption, look stupid, and maybe even offended a forum user. I’m very sorry and will try to make less assumptions.
@bonanzagrade , if you’re interested in a PSA 9 Blaine’s Zard I have one. I was seeing some 9 and 10k offers for the PSA 10 now and those were getting turned down. Again, another random point and hearsay but it is something.
