Just wondering why most of the PSA cert. numbers that we have in our possesion or for sale are 2### or 4### numbers.
I’ve seen sometimes 0### , 1### or 3### but much less (especially the 3###)
Any ideas?
The majority of graded Pokemon cards are 2’s and 4’s because the most grading occurred in these time periods. The 3’s are rare because for whatever reason PSA jumped around and had already been using the 3’s for other cards. They broke into the 4’s shortly after the 2’s. I don’t think I’ve seen sny graded Pokemon cards in the 31xxxx-39xxxx. Only 30xxxx.

I was so scared this was going to be another 2 vs 4 cert discussion, but was so glad when i opened this lol.
that being said, i dont know the answer myself but have always wondered. @zap2, however has given great insight here, and i appreciate that info!
