Alright I’ll start with my first favourite, which is… jks second favourite has got to be Squirtle. I chose this little guy about 20 years ago in Pokémon Blue and never looked back. I remember him evolving into Blastoise and thought he looked so badass. So much nostalgia!
It would be a tough decision for #2 spot, but would be either Arcanine or Mewtwo.
