Which is more likely: Munch, Poncho and Van Gogh [Poll + Discussion]

This is a question I’ve been considering and thought it could make for a thoughtful discussion:

Which is More Likely:

  • Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat rises up to meet Munch and Poncho value/status
  • Munch and Poncho promos come down to Grey Felt Hat value/status
  • They are separate products and will not reach value equilibrium

I’m not confident enough to say what will happen with Poncho and Munch cards, but Grey Felt Halt Pika feels very overpriced to me. Just my personal opinion.

So many cards feel overpriced. I don’t think that matters with the current mindset and collector. They are different cards for sure. I misread the question and thought we were looking at Mario pikas and Van Gogh. I feel The Felt Hat Pika is more in line with Mario Pikachu. In the collaboration between TPCI and another known entity, while Ponchos have always Felt like a gimmick. A successful one tho. Felt Hats intro to the world was an event ( even when if not a good one) so it is known and hyped out of the gate. I think it will rise.

In this market anything is possible.

Burger Pikachu was similar, makes me wonder how cyclical these things are

I wasn’t even aware the Munch promos and Poncho Pikachu promos were on a similar level. I think all three of them are separated. And all three of them are expensive, and will likely become more expensive. :person_shrugging:

Personally, I feel like the Munch cards and poncho have more identity than the Pika van gogh. IDK if it’s because Van go didn’t grow organically, like the others did, but When I think about these cards, the Van seems to have left long aGogh for felt hat, while the others have become close friends.

I think felt hat will rise up some, and the others will come back down, but I don’t think they’ll ever meet. I also don’t think poncho are on par with munch, but that’s a different question.

Wasn’t Scream an event too? I guess, not really, but they were each retail in-connection with an event, yes?
