2020 Champions Path Zard
Champion’s Path. I did not like the borders during Sun/Moon as it made off centred cards very obvious (like in your picture, that 10 looks off centre to me haha). The Sw/Sh borders are a lot better to me as I prefer the thick filled in ones that we have with the Vs and the EXs. I also prefer the design of the Charizard V, it feels more like a dragon to me haha.

Between those two I’d go with Champions Path. The new shiny VMAX that I think is coming out it the Japanese Shiny V set looks better than both of them.

I think I like any Charizard ever better than the Hidden Fates one. Even the wacky CGI Expedition Zard is more lovable IMO.
The Champion’s Path is really quite good though.

Champion’s path, easily. The champions path charizard is in my opinion one of the best charizard artworks while the SV49 is one of the worst. SV49 looks like he ordered one chicken nugget too many at Mcdonalds.

Are they both easily obtainable? What I mean is, is the Hidden Fates Zard harder to pull or vise versa? Has there been any confirmation on that? Just curious. Or do you they have about the same pull odds?
Still too early you think to know which one has more staying power? (Like value and all that)
I know hidden fates is a better set according to most, but the Champions Path Zard looks better…maybe offsetting the crappy overall set.
There’s literally like Two cards to really chase in the whole set (Champions) which scares me because I think more peeps will open more product just to chase for those two cards; where as Fates you could pull Embreon and stuff like that. I don’t know, thoughts and opinions rolling through my head right now lol
At the end of the day I think you have a significantly lower chance of getting a HF Zard because there another 91 Hf cards you could pull instead. However the champs path has better art. Only time will tell

Trying not to get off topic here, but I will mention that Its noted on Reddit that the Zard pull rates in Hidden Fates are roughly 1:300- 350 packs.
Won’t be long before those numbers come out for Champions. I’m going to guess the same. It’s gotta be

Hidden Fates for me, more bulk to him and he’s looking straight at you. Also having both in person the colors are better on th Hidden Fates one not a fan of all the glitter.

I know it’s not on the list but my favorite zard is 1st edition Shining Charizard from Neo Destiny.
Out of the modern Zards I’m going Champions Path Shiny V. Then Hidden Fates Shiny Zard. Then Champions Path Rainbow Zard. Followed by Burning Shadows Rainbow Zard. Charizard/ Braixen Rainbow Tag Team. Then ReshiZard Rainbow Rare.
Also bonus points for Detective Pikachu Steroids Zard! For a cheap card that one is epic in my opinion!
