Where do you guys order pokemon booster boxes from?

They are sold out everywhere, just how early do you have to be to order a booster box at a decent price?
Is everyone just bulk ordering them and storing them in their basement?

TCGPlayer and eBay are both fine.

I don’t know if you’re going to be able to find anything for under MSRP that isn’t a preorder. There’s just too much demand for product right now.

it is easy to get hold of sealed product, if you are willing to pay up

I’m friends with a couple of people who have their own stores so I pre-order through them as that’s usually the best way to get a decent price and a box or two.

I personally just buy from ebay about a week before release date and got decent prices. A friend of mine told me he went in earlier than that to his lgs and got a cheaper price than what I paid. Might be worth making a trip to your lgs when a new tcg product is revealed to be released to enquire about placing an order.

That would be the best solution! around here we only have a Müller market though … they always look bewildered at me when i buy cards ;(

ā€œDecent priceā€ is subjective these days with how active and wild the market is, so best advice is to just source out some trusted places with a price youre comfortable which correlates to the demand of the present day. It easy to want to turn back the clocks and go back to 90 dollar booster boxes all day for modern (idk what they are now as i havent bought any, but that was what i was once paying) but now its kind of a take what you can get and what youre comfortable with situation.

That being said, tcg player is good, as well as there being many other sources both online and possibly locally which you can source. A few google searches for the item in question as well as searches of wherever you are looking to buy from for some reviews and youll be where you want to be.

One of my local stores runs a fairly large eBay business (footballpete on ebay). They sell hundreds of boxes each release at online market price, but still sell to their in-store customers for 129 a box. These are the types of businesses you want to find and be a repeat customer of. I’m sure there are many other store owners who follow similar practices.
