I love how the environment of the Hidden Legends artworks corresponds with the location of each Regi in the games. Never even noticed that before seeing them side-by-side like this.

Suwama Chiaki, although I cannot find an official source.

Big fan of the Expedition artworks. The Feraligatr artwork in particular is great:

True. I also love the fact that Pokémon like this got front appearances back then. Now it´s mostly the new legendary Pokémon and the standard fan favorites.

It’s hard to decide a favorite because I love all of them! I have a lot of picks because I love pack arts, I love seeing all of your choices too!

I always liked this pack art. Reminds me of a comic book cover.

Japanese booster pack and booster box designs are second to none. It’s impossible to choose one favorite, but if I was forced to pick, I think that it would have to be Fossil. The paleontology design is just perfect.

Chilling Reign, Evolving Skies, Fusion Strike all have great art from Egawa.
HGSS Era has amazing work from Kawayoo (Though the real stars are the theme deck boxes).

But I Gotta also say Neo Disco. has the best overall appeal for me.

I think it’s cool how the daylight is in foil, and changes across the packs. I’m glad I collect wrappers because honestly, I had to take out a few sets in person to decide. Neo Gen also has a great look all together, and Rocket is clean, crisp, and grabbing. Not to mention the best single pack goes to JP Jungle. It’s arita, of course.
