Something that I think would be useful would be a species checklist generator. Basically you select the species that you’re interested in collecting and it spits out an entire list of every single card featuring said species, including cameos.

I’m excited to hear what others think would be useful!

Uncut sheets that i could compare identified printings to so i can put a name to them.

Just a definitive definitive list of all cards and variations in a set or species.

Or definitive cameo lists.

There are some great resources that already exist for this kind of thing but I’m a one list one place kind of person.

The exact number of cards printed of a certain one. Would help me prioritize my focus better for the rarer ones

Anything to save time and cut down on clicks.

For example, a tool to input certification numbers that opens the tcgplayer, pricecharting, and psa/cgc/bgs pages associated with the the card.

Type in the code, open 3 windows:

a better feedback mechanism for products. I don’t even remember where I heard it. But that TPCi really has a poor feedback mechanism in that they just talk with distributors who give them the wrong idea on what people want. This company is very opaque and illogical sometimes.

Print runs for every card.

Pokémon center TCG products available in every language on one site.

Imagine the profit from users buying 16 versions of the same product, multiple times, to complete an all languages master set or species collection. I have avoided buying stuff on cardmarket because I need to find a middleman for shipping from Europe to US. I think I’m just SOL for many Asian cards too.

The PokeMuseum uncut sheets page might be useful for you

100%! The silver bible but for all years would be a dream. The idea was actually pitched to pokemon but they wanted a proof of concept. That would be a dream for any collector, and it would only benefit the pokemon company.

A site that has high quality, gallery like view of all cards with variants and includes japanese. Currently, nothing really exists that i know of. Preferably one that requires few clicks and doesnt make me open a new tab. Most usually have one card and are missing reverses/non holos.

Its been useful but only to an extent. Without being able to see the details like UV ink color, ink/plate characteristics , inner core patterns and other properties up close, its hard to judge. Im pretty certain i can identify cards printed by PBM and Games and Print. A little less sure but i think i have confidence ive found Yaquinto too. Already know i got Belgium.

The closest thing that I know of is TCGCollector which includes Japanese scans but unfortunately it’s missing images of variants (reverse, etc). I agree that it would be great if there was a website with the variants!

Thats ultimately my goal. People have never considered the back of the card and its what tells half the story

A list of all cards for one pokemon in all languages, while there’s some great lists there’s so many promos and random cards for each pokemon it’s hard to know if you have seen all of that one pokemon, I want to catalog every Squirtle card but every time I start to get excited about it I realize just how many languages and promos and random gimmicks there are. It’d be nice if

Pokemon made a list of every card from every language, including promos and random unrecognized print runs, for each pokemon.

Also I wish they’d release more information on past products, while it’s not smart for modern it wouldn’t hurt to release official information on a set released 26 years ago in Australia

A proper website, easy to explore with all the promos etc like https://pokumon.com/ but sadly no longer updated ):

A website that alerts users when a specific card is listed on any of the dozens of sites people use to sell cards. Ideally, this algorithm would be smart enough to discern between variants and card condition.

Imagine how much free time you would have back…
