Web Series

Like with majority of other Japanese sets, are the unlimited variants more scarce than the first editions?

I asked the same question some time ago:

I do think that UED is rarer than 1st Ed, but not quite as much rarer as for the other e-series sets.

Unlimited king here, just kidding, I wish to be one day. lol anyway like @muk said the UED seems to be only slightly more rare for the WEB series from what I’ve seen too.

It’s indeed slightly more rare, but nothing like a lot of other Japanese sets. I didn’t had any trouble finding both the 1st and unlimited edition Moltres in both raw and PSA-10 quality at the time, nor the Surfing Pikachu raw in both editions. And right now I do own the unlimited edition sealed booster pack with Moltres (and have come across another one since), but I’m still looking for the 1st edition version to complete my Moltres collection.

Overall I’d say the Pokémon Web set is almost equal in terms of 1st vs unlimited edition availability; probably 65% 1st and 35% unlimited to be more exact if I had to make an educated guess.

For what it’s worth  ( but I’m not really unprejudiced ):
