Hello guys and welcome to another fresh set. We are here with water stage final evos and this is the only set where a pokemon from later half gens (precisely greninja) had a highest chance to win. So will that happen we would see as we go through the polls. As for the first one to go out, we all know that one unnecessary final evo so let’s send it out packing
seeing them arranged all together like this is wild. rlly seems like at some point they decided on a [PROFESSION] [ANIMAL] template and never looked back. ruler penguin (i do realize the reasoning), flamenco dancer duck, spy lizard, ninja frog, ballerina seal, samurai otter. seems like they’re painting themselves into a corner lol
Quackquaval didn’t give me the same visceral reaction I had with Inteleon, so I’m sticking with that. To me, it just stands out the most. I’ll probably go Quack and then Primarina next, but after that is going to be tough. Lots of great designs.
Maybe that has something to do with the fact that… post Gen5 designs becoming more complicated, less aggressive and more humanoid every new generation.
If the Gen 10 Water start would evolve in a gigantic leviathan-like sea serpent it would easily beat every other Water type starter.
The human-form monsters in this bunch don’t even look like pokemon. There’s something oddly cartoony about them, like they couldn’t possibly exist as real creatures, from an anotomical standpoint. That doesn’t sit well with me. It’s not because they’re late-gen, but maybe it’s a trend within the more recent creature design teams…
