I will always remember this. Nice test of knowledge when i was a kid and still is fun today

Last week I was watching Sun and Moon series on TV and my dad was playing Solitair on his phone and the only thing he said “Do they don’t do that “Who is this Pokemon?” anymore?”
20 years passed and that’s the thing my dad remembers of Pokémon xD

I always think of Magnemite, Gastly and Staryu. I can remember bringing my first pack to school back then and opening it during lunchtime. I always thought they looked like cool Pokemon and those three cards have always stuck out to me. Those cards or just random stuff from playing Red/Blue versions.

For me: Waking up early with my little brother in the weekend. We would both wake up out of excitement early in the morning because new Pokémon episodes would air here in the Netherlands at like 7 AM.

I have those exact 3 Poli figures too! They actually used to be my sister’s but she gave them to me when she wasn’t into Pokemon anymore. I also have a bouncy ball but it has a Pikachu inside. Yes. The one that became a meme. I didn’t free mine, though. Him not free.

In the past I would say it would be the new annual Pokemon games that come out every year, and wondering what would be the next game coming up. Now, I typically just think of this lovely community that has welcomed me with open arms, thinking about how you all are doing and hoping you are all doing well. I am not a big fan of having an online presence and rarely use social media, but I always felt like this community is a home that I can always go back to and feel welcomed.
