This card was $30 this time last year, now they’re selling for $90+
I think the card has room to rise. Low pop, amazing artwork and iconic pokemon. It might even eclipse the gold star seeing as they’re everywhere.
Any other ex-series cards which aren’t gold stars rising?
I think Team Rocket Returns ex cards in general are on the rise / have been expensive for a while. I saw even some PSA 9’s selling for around $100, which imo is a lot when you can easily get other ex cards in PSA 9 for like $25-50. Unseen Forces Espeon ex and Lugia ex are fairly costly too from what I’ve seen. And obviously Charizard ex from Fire Red & Leaf Green has always been one of the most expensive ones.
I definitely see movement in Lugia’s price but I feel the Rocket 9s, while expensive, haven’t really gone up that much over time.
The Rockets ex’s spiked over a year ago I believe. But the price has been stagnant since then. Also there is a big gap between them (also Lugia, espeon and zard) and the rest of the exs. Wouldn’t surprise me to see more make that jump to $80+
to me, those ex cards are so underpriced. How can the highest value ex card of a very popular era only go for 450 USD when even the most horrible looking goldstars are going for the same or more.
I think we should see a rise in price of the charizard ex soon, when that happens, it will take other ex’s up with it aswell. Alot of those ex cards are hard to grade aswell and there is still lots of low pop ex’s left
Are we talking about a graded version of the card (TMTA 94) or? PSA 9s are $90+ but the top dollar for a NM card is probs more like $30-$40 with the average card going for $20 - $30.
That said, I have said many times before that EX series EXs are under-appreciated and I still stand by that, but hey, gives me more time to build a nice collection
