Im not suggesting supply of these cards are low. Im suggesting it’s very rare for supply to be concentrated in one persons hands (500-1000 copies of each card) today unless they’ve purposely acquired them. Things are so much different today than 8-10 years ago.

Kabuto king is already calling tcgplayer out on market price manipulation. I bet some of his buddies bet on the over on Polymarket. Users can sell a 1000 copies to themselves at 1 and cancel the order and affect market price. This Polymarket bet is literally gonna depend on what side can create the most fake transactions as possible. I’m shocked the % of over 100$ is so high. It’s easier keep it low than high doing fake sales. The downside risk is a tcgplayer employee could technically change the market price for kabuto for 1 day make a bunch of money and just quit. Crazy weird world. Polymarket is all inside trading and they actually encourage it

The polymarket ended up resolving as the manipulators spammed $300 sales on fresh 0 feedback tcgplayer accounts on a $30 floor card and it pushed all the way to a $140 average yesterday. Unbelievable.
