I love that Lapras! Also saw a bunch of waifu collectors elsewhere RAGING about that Sabrina being exclusive to this game.

Personally I’m a bit annoyed at such great arts being locked behind a phone game

But I wouldn’t be surprised if we see some sort of future side set with these cards printed for real. We had the Pokemon Go-themed set so why not a Pocket set too? It’s free money for The Pokemon Company.

I think the Meowth is part of the battle pass promo set i.e. a promo available for a limited time. I speculate that it won’t be printed to maintain exclusivity to the app

Assuming Pokémon Pocket is a success I could envision in 3-5 years a physical tcg set centered around exclusive cards from the game. I don’t think people who own them digitally would mind owning them physically also.

In one set they completed Kanto gym leaders that the physical TCG hasn’t in 7.5 years lol. (Going by the modern SM era template as the start)
