I recently posted in the Latest Purchase thread that I had finally completed 1st Edition Base Set Holos in grades 7-9 after starting the goal in 2020 right before Covid. I did have to “settle” for a Shadowless Charizard, though. A couple of forum members suggested I update my collection thread, so here it is.
The entire goal was paid for by buying, grading and selling cards and using the proceeds. I was able to grade 7 of these cards myself from raw copies I picked up on eBay in late 2019. Most of the rest I purchased on Fanatics during the 2023-2024 cool off.
The self graded cards are: Chansey, Gyrados, Magneton, Mewtwo, Nidoking, Poliwrath, and Raichu.
