I think “pack fresh” becoming commonly used in listings comes from people not knowing how to properly label the condition of their card(s). How many times have you come across a “near mint” listing that felt more like it should be “moderately played”. People either do not look into how to properly label card condition or they don’t want to be entirely honest.
