While we’re on the topic of block lists…anyone else’s blocklist not working? I put him on there, saved it, and back in my options it just says I’m not blocking any users at all. I googled and did everything as described on how to block someone.
My last paypal account i had limitations applied because i exceed 200 transactions within that calendar year. They continually hounded me for a SS# and i wasnt going to do it because it was general household sales (including some pokemon, sure)
While I dont disagree with you based on this, I first hand experienced it. Maybe I should have contacted them but we all know how that goes. So I detached all payment sources, made a new account and reattached. Much simpler!
When you sign up for Paypal they ask for tax info after a certain amount, I think it’s $1,000. Just provide it, that way you’re covered. Never had an issue in the past 10 years…
He keeps messaging me from multiple accounts. I reported him to eBay, but they don’t care. I added him to my Blocked Buyer’s List and added a checkmark that blocked Buyer’s cannot message me, but it didn’t do anything. He just keeps messaging me. I called eBay and they said they don’t know why blocking doesn’t work and that they’ll “look into it.” - What do I do now? I’m sick of getting messages from him every few days.
Just ignore him and dont reply? Its easier than getting worked up about some sad act whose idea of a fun day is to annoy, and piss people off.
Dont rise to it unless he is seriously threatening your well being. If that happens send him a polite message saying you are passing his details and messages onto the police to deal with. Then dont message him back, contact your local station and pass them the evidence(Only if it is a threat to your life, wellbeing, property or others around you, with reasonal worry for your safety).Otherwise just ignore him and delete the messages? as the meercats say…“Simples”
I only replied back a couple of times and stopped that now. He told me that I should just kill myself, that was the last straw, and I called eBay and told them about this. They told me they’re looking into this now and expect something to happen.
I get hit with trolls on the regular. Ignoring is the best option. If you feel like it becomes too threatening, give ebay a call and they will probably step in if the person won’t quit.
