Ok, I HAVE to know if anyone has ever bought from Temu/Aliexpress? I see people say they got some real ones, others are entire cartons of fake ones… at this point I have no idea what to believe since some packs look legit. Mixed reviews everywhere, so…
How was your experience or do you know someone that has bought some cards, and what happened? I am so curious that I am about to purchase a pack out of pure curiosity.
Edit- i am asking because i watched a YouTuber open a bunch of packs and they turned out legit. Obv I know 99% have to be fake, maybe it was luck. Just curious if anyones bothered to buy just to see/for fun. Also, i don’t advocate for people to buy fake cards off temu for reselling purposes-I’m asking purely out of “did you buy just to see because you were curious?”
How legitimate are the mass commerce sites that are notorious for selling fake, extremely poor quality, suspiciously cheap goods that are made with the most egregious of slave labour conditions?
You’d probably find that the ‘real’ packs they opened were indeed real, but somewhere a long the way links back to a seller account on those sites that is probably them wearing a hat.
You are better off buying from basically anywhere else so you don’t have to worry about 99% of them being fakes. You cannot be that desperate to find a deal.
Didn’t really think it could be them selling to themselves, valid point.
No, I’m not desperate for a deal on anything lol. I purchase 99% of from Gamestop/LCS at the mall for packs/tins and eBay for my species collection. I just got curious after watching the video since I always hear people say everything on the sites are a scam and then suddenly this dude is ripping packs that turn out not fake at all.
Wondered if anyone on here ever did it just to take a chance for fun and ended up lucky.
Aaron Alpeter has a good breakdown on how temu operates. It’s not a marketplace but rather a demand aggregate platform that finds customers for factories operating at excess capacity. I imagine that TPC is not among the factories on temu desperate to move excess product
