Mods can delete this if not allowed. There is no monetary incentive to me as I’m just working on building out a pet project.
I created a website (https://grading-game.onrender.com) which is currently in “beta”, that asks users what grade they think a card should have received. It’ll track these user responses and eventually generate a community average for these cards.
There will be leaderboards for the most “over” or “under” graded cards.
I’ve also allowed users to submit their own PSA carts if they wanted it to get added to the universe of cards that gets graded by the community.
No real purpose of this website, other than to see what others think some cards should have graded.
I may have created this since my Alakazam came back a 5 and I think it deserved higher, but also maybe that is not the reason.
Take a look if you care and I’d love some feedback. Thanks for entertaining my pet project.
Just tried it, and it’s definitely well made! Pretty fun too, especially when it comes to vintage cards, since you have to use your brain a little more, while modern often feels like a coin flip between 9-10
I also quite enjoyed it. Would it be possible to make categories for each eras or something? I’d love to just focus on the vintage side and don’t really care about modern.
Awesome! If it makes you feel better, I would’ve graded your Alakazam a 7 I think (or maybe it was a 6, not too sure). But I remember I was surprised to see it only got a 5.
I collect raw so can’t contribute much but I do have 2 slabs right now that I can add later!
Awesome! That’s way cool! Also, would there be a way to, after you go back and view the card (after having submitted your grade), to go back and see the submission grade screen without having to just go to the next card?
Also, idk how you feel about competition or whatever, but I just thought of having a login where I could see how accurate I am, and then see how accurate other people are, then having “the most accurate grader” or something. Or even having badges like E4 does. Idk what those badges would even be, but I gotta collect them all lol
I considered that but figured most people wouldn’t want to create a login for this. I feel like I may be able to track it without the need for a login (assuming you’re not in an incognito window or something similar)
I added the button for “See Score” once you go back and review the card
Having a blast with it honestly! Also nice to see that I’m basically on the same page as the “community” so far mostly. Also, whoever posted that Base 2 Venusaur, you got robbed my guy, I’m sorry for you
