I sell a lot of different tcg cards on facebook (MTG, FAB, Pokemon). However, for whatever reason, the pokemon facebook groups have the most immature buyers by far. Every time you put up cards, they will ask you for closeup pictures from different angles (which I am okay to do) and then they will either completely ghost you or claim it and tell you they will pay tomorrow or whenever they get their next paycheque. Spoiler alert, they aren’t going to contact you again after that. The sad part is that this ONLY happens with Pokemon groups. Why is this?! It honestly turns me off so much from the hobby.
Just need to refine your selling technique. Take only 2 high quality photos, front and back - describe any flaws that can not be seen in your photos, don’t respond to requests for more. Set your price with the word FIRM next to it, don’t respond to questions asking what your best price is. Require immediate payment.
Your problem is now solved, continue enjoying the hobby
or if this is too much work… just stop selling on FB
