There are 63 English sampling/fun packs total including the B&W Preview Pack. I have Roaring Skies left to go but don’t know anyone or haven’t heard of anyone who has an English pack in their collection. Is this pack harder to find than the Call of Legends pack? Does anyone on here have (or know of someone who has) a Roaring Skies pack in their collection?
@elam18 might know how rare it is, according to a thread from almost a decade ago they have a complete set

I wouldn’t consider it the same line as the sample/fun packs. I put it in with my miscellaneous packs. I’m not sure if I’m missing anything else. I also have the 2-player Demo Game pack but not sure if I consider it a booster pack.

Very nice collection. Can I ask, what is the difference between the “sampling/fun pack” and the other “3 additional” card packs?

Thanks! I consider the “sampling” packs to be the 3-card packs that have the set name on it and have either “Sampling Pack” or “Fun Pack” underneath it. The others are just General Mills, McDonalds, and Trick or Trade packs.

I think it was that sampling packs could have holos, fun packs didnt have rares (usually just commons), additional packs related to their own small subset of cards or promos (like the trick or treat or mcdonalds sets).
Dollar store 3card packs were similar except they could have any card from the set included.
This is from a poor memory so i hope im right.
I would be curious to know if the collection is still complete after all this time.
It’s the other way around, Sampling packs have only commons and uncommons, while Fun Packs introduced the possibility to have a reverse card up to a reverse holo.

Yes I do working on the hanger pack variations which are harder to find. I’m missing 2 from Burning Shadows and 3 from Celestial Storm. I have the jagged hanger packs for SWSH Base coming. If anyone has what I’m missing please let me know! I believe the hanger variation is available for S&M Burning Shadows through SWSH Base. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

I recently got Call of Legends which finished off my set. Also got the pre-HGSS ones that don’t exist in English. They technically don’t count for the English masterset but I just like them. Glad to see another collector so close to done! Roaring Skies is crazy hard to find. I always thought CoL would’ve been everyone’s final hunt!
