Hello guys and welcome to another day of the polls. Patrat is gone in previous poll as expected. Crazy how unova made really great pokemon but none of them are early route mons (or starters). With two of the rodents gone, positions are:
The thing is that paldean regional forms are wierd with the way they are caught and idk how in the world a pig is considered a rodent…
Tbf there isn’t a term ‘regional rodent’. It’s fan assumed, so really it could be anything.
Tbf, neither are Yungoos, Zigzagoon, or Sentret. A mongoose isn’t a rodent, nor is a racoon, nor is a ferret.
EDIT: nor are rabbits, although unlike the others, rabbits are at least rodent-adjacent. The only ones that are rodents are Rattata (rat), Bidoof (beaver), Patrat (a chipmunk that evolves into a groundhog; both of which are rodents), and Skwovet (squirrel).
I guess it should be more like ‘Normal-Type land animal’ indeed.

Patiently waiting for the eye booger to go to market so I can vote on one of Johto’s biggest embarrassments.
