This isn’t so much “lessons learned” but more so, handy quotes and expressions that are relevant to the hobby (and maybe life), and cut right to the core.

“Chorizords” has become short-hand in my life for the exact kind of people/environment you’d expect.
To that end, “chorizo” has also become slang understood between my partner and I if I know I’m wasting my time in a particular shop etc.
“Let’s get out of here, too much chorizo around.”
“Do you have to pay taxes on the trading cards you sell? Man, that’s tough. Since I have to say yes or no, I’m gonna say no.”
“Energyyyy…….ENERGYYYYYYY……”
