The Question of the Day is a way to facilitate community discussion to help members ponder the unanswered questions of the world that are somehow relating to the hobby. Questions are many times open ended and up to interpretation. Feel free to post your thoughts in as much or as little detail as you’d like.
Helpful Considerations may or may not help some people focus their answer, these are blurred to not bother those who have their own ideas.
Today’s Question: QotD: You get unlimited funds to design your living space furnishings but it must be pokemon inspired. What is the most extravagant gaudy over-the-top thing you would include?
Helpful Considerations: A reading chair with charizard wings? Entryway pillars in the design of duraladon? An eiscue themed refrigerator? Custom sink faucets of water pokemon?
I would recreate the Neptune pool at Hearst Castle (look it up) but I would swap all of the marble statues with realistic water-type Pokémon like Blastoise (shooting water cannons into the pool), and schools of Magikarp swimming around a giant life-sized Gyarados. I would also play some low-key music from the games over a professional ambient sound system too (National Park from G/S, for example.)
Now thats the kind of flamboyant burning of money that Im talking about! Nothing says filthy rich eccentric like ancient artifacts made by masters adorning your swimming pool overlooking an amazing scenery.
UNLIMITED FUNDS!!! You could have a roomba for every room of the house look like this with the main room having one that looks like Muk and one that roams the whole house randomly at triple speed that is shiny!
A warehouse located deep underground housing 6 FT tall hand painted statues of every single pokemon + their shiny variations + any other variations that are all linked to a system managing a conveyor belt that will randomly select different statues to be moved throughout a showcase area 24/7. Like a sushi conveyor belt but for statues.
