QotD: What sets form your most recent nostalgia and was it influenced by popularity?

The last yearish ive been looking at english dpp cards quite a bit. The art and designs and just about everything else is subpar to ex, yet i still find myself enjoying them. I even made a personal spreadsheet to track which set cards I have…

I actually prefer the reverses from that block over modern reverses. Sometimes simpler is better

with the mega era starting soon i will prolly drift back over to xy cards though :sweat_smile:

No one set in particular. I pretty much lump everything together from back then. I dont think the set identities are that great frankly
