I agree! I love the geometric background, blue colours, a real night time, otherworldly feel to it.

I mean a lot of things. Energy cards, hur dur.

But something that is of art I’d appreciate and on the cheap? Be nice to this guy now. When he grows up he is gonna be shredded.

I don’t really know why. I’d just find it kind of funny. I also think I have about 25 of them already.

Most of my favorite cards are far from within my means for a full 9-slot binder (360 cards) due to the boom.

I’ve considered EX-era commons, which have a normal and reverse foil version. But even so, I’ll only get to a few dozen until the entire (reasonably priced) supply runs dry on TCGPlayer and eBay. Forget any chase cards, vintage holos, reverse foils, 1ED cards, desirable uncommon, etc. in today’s market. Goodbye to any vintage cards of desirable species as they’ll be $5 or $10 per card before shipping and tax for rough copies. I’ve also checked modern illustration rares and most of those are prohibitively expensive as well at 360 copies.

So knowing these limitations and checking the supply on TCGPlayer and eBay for various cards…

I think I would choose Base Unlimited Magikarp. This would cost me a few thousand dollars, but it would be manageable. And I don’t think I could get sick of seeing this goofy boy floating in a blue binder.

I considered at some point filling a binder with fossil grimer cards of varying conditions, variants and languages. I’ve since scrapped the idea for a lot of reasons but it was a fun thought process

Normally I am in the same mindset as Quuador, I don’t like having duplicates…but I don’t consider cosmos holos as being fully identical duplicate cards because of the mostly unique holo pattern on each card. That being said I have 117 copies of prize pack 4 Drifloon, 1/3 of the way to a full binder of 360
