I got this a while back in a collection lot I purchased. I knew it was a promo, but didnt know it was rare until I went through my binder and searched up some of the cards about a month ago.
I guess its a participation prize card which is cool considering mid-2000s was a lower point for pokemon popularity.
Im pretty aware of everything I buy. There are a couple small trinkets I forget about every now and then, but its difficult to forget about my collection. I bought one of those sealed eevee finger skateboards a while back. Its unique enough to forget about here and there because I dont see many of them anymore, and I loved tech deck stuff when I was younger.
I bought this Neo Genesis Pichu just over 5 years ago. It’s a bit hard to see, but there is an additional cyan ink overspray in the top right corner, as if a Mischievous Pichu was playing with paint (as in 214/S-P). The card has intense holo bleed as well if I remember correctly. Still have it in my Gen 2 dex binder! ^-^
Yeah I have bought a bunch of base 1999 Chansey’s in 1st Ed, shadowless, Unlimited and 4th print as they are a lower pop in higher grades, especially 10. I did not realise I had bought both a PSA7 and PSA8 in Unlimited Chansey when I was through all my vintage the other day on Collectr…I thought, that’s a cool pair.
