Generally speaking, any small fire or water type, would be very useful.
Any “humanlike” would be great for helping to set up, like Machoke.
Between a team of something like a Squirtle, Charmander and a Machoke, I imagine you’d have the perfect camping setup. Fire, water and a buddy to carry and help with setting up/packing up. Maybe a lil feller like Meowth who could gather some berries for the Pokémon to eat or something.
As for encounter? Any Pokémon that minds it’s own business!
Oh. You must have meant the other obvious reason. Well, if you camp in the months when its warm I dont think youll need its fluffyness for warmth much, so I dont agree it would be the best for camping at all times. But if you run cold all the time I see the functionality. Thanks for helping me keep an open mind.
I just realized that I made this shitty joke at a rather interesting time. This is the first summer in my thirty something years where we’ve had virtually no Buzzwoles. Perfectly timed freak combination of droughts plus no melt water, never experienced anything like it. Normally you’d get eaten alive in a minute outside here for weeks on end but I haven’t even put up any netting this year.
