I know PWCC has been a previous topic and I was trying to find that giant thread but couldn’t find it. I just have a question on one of my sold listings (I didn’t get much but I didn’t care either lol). It was my first time consigning to them and I have heard good things about them but when I went to the bidding history, it looks suspicious, like someone shill bid. Any thoughts? If so, I probably won’t consign again, it was just out of pure laziness to be honest lol. If you have consigned, how was your experience?
EDIT: Just to clarify, I did have Pokemon listings that havn’t closed yet in order to look at the bidders as far as relation to Pokemon vice Sports Cards… I guess it does not really matter who bids, just wondering if someone had this experience.
Because whoever this e***o is in the history i see 3 consecutive bids from the same person upping their own bid, just odd thats all. I guess I am looking into it more then I need to, honestly dont really care at this point, just as long as I get paid my pennies lol.
EDIT: My overall point more for this thread was people’s experience w/ PWCC then anything.
I can understand that, but all that matters is if it’s paid for or not. I’ve seen a lot of funny bidding, but it’s rare I see people shilling up $86 items on eBay. I wouldn’t be too suspicious if I were you.
So wait a few days to see if you get a cheque or PayPal payment from PWCC.
By default ebay hides automatic bids from bid history. Notice the link on the right hand side of the page saying ‘Show Automatic Bids’?
Click on it and you will get a detailed breakdown. It shows all the automatic bids that were made and further matched by e***0, most likely because he had set a max bid amount which he kept matching automatically as soon as someone else bid higher.
Nothing dodgy as far as I can see.
You can only set a max bid higher, but the current bid still stays the same.
It’s only when other people bid, that the current bid goes up to what they bid, and if a max bid exists with a higher amount than current, it increments by the minimum increment amount.
