How is tyranitar still here? A pseudo legendary should be almost mythical. A pretty watersnake transforming into a powerful dragon is impressive. A floating eyeball becoming a land tank with 4 legs that has psychic abilities and packs a punch sounds amazing. A small mean rock mole turning into a rock cocoon and becoming a slow and mean rockbear doesnt sound mythical, thats just the normal “it got bigger” evolution.
Nothing legendary about it.
Funny is that there are tons of dragons and the two non-dragon psudos made it to top 3…
Tyranitar is godzilla and godzilla is rad.
If godzilla was 6.5ft. Not impressed. Dragonite is at least 7ft and metagross is 5ft vertical and like double width.
Tyranitar singlehandedly creates and runs one of the best team strategies in all of Pokemon. And despite being introduced in gen 2, having a terrible type combo it keeps up and allows others to keep up with 20 years of power creep.
Plus it’s very cool looking. It’s a wonder Dragonite is here because it is unusable competitively until very recently and is carried by genwunner nostalgia alone
I can’t believe I’m saying this…but you may have sold me on Metagross. I still voted for him and that’s not changing, but you did make him sound mega cool
It has an attack that calls down meteors! What more can you want from something almost legendary?
Metagross is a 550kg, flying steel tank, with 4 super computer brains, that can launch meteors from space. It has a perfect design that straddles the Pokémon line of badass monster without jumping the shark, it’s design is completely unique in over 1000 Pokémon species and there is nothing else that resembles it. It also has the greatest shiny in the history of the franchise.

Come on people, make like a Metagross and use your brains.
I want to be shocked at Dragonite making this far, but the Genwunner nostalgia is a powerful force. I’m a Genwunner by most metrics, however I never cared for Dragonite. Too cutesy.
