PSA grading - Pichu Ereader with a hole punched gets a PSA 7 while a Pikachu WB promo with a needle pierced gets a PSA 1

Hi everyone,
I bought a Pichu E-Reader Demo Glossy PSA 7 from Fanatics and the card has a hole punched through for the landyard. Im surprised that it got a PSA 7 since theres a giant hole through the card.

But Ive also seen a Pikachu WB promo with a thumb tack pierced through the card getting a PSA 1. I’ve included attached photos for comparison.

Is the Pichu PSA 7 over graded? Thoughts?

Hi me when I miss lunch,

The demo card is being graded knowing the hole punch is a feature, not a bug. If it was another card hole punched, it would not get a 7.

Is there a way to tell a difference? What if I just buy a pichu from that set and punch a fat hole in it and send it in?

perhaps it is an official looking hole punch? and they can tell between official pokemon hole punches and rogue hole punches. Like where it is, the diameter of the circle, and how official it looks

The official hole-punched cards have a glossy front, from pichufan’s description of them.
