For context - during COVID, quite a few graphic designers switched to UX/UI as a career path. You’re telling me post UX/UI boom, these guys couldn’t find a single designer to make their site look and function decently?

The worst part is there’s no rhyme or reason behind what is a ā€œsuper bydderā€ exclusive. There’s some high-end slabs sure, but then there’s also random $30 modern sealed and funko pops thrown in.

If this was their attempt at trying to have their own version of Fanatics’ premium auctions, then they failed the assignment miserably.

Yes, and if I was the owner of one of those ā€œsuper bydder exclusiveā€ items I would be pretty annoyed. Because the buyer pool is artificially smaller and there’s no benefit to the owner. Only a higher risk that it sells below market price. Especially in the very first auction block…

snype looks like a Boomer’s attempt at making a cool auction house for Millennials and Gen Z

Call it snype if you want, though generally I would guess that most people hate snipers on auctions (unless you are the one doing it of course). Be like calling a house buying service Gazumpying in the UK.

But don’t replace i for y for every term going. It’s so ugly, cringey and off putting.

It’s a thumbs down for me.
