Price Check: 72 Long Pack Jungle Unlimited case

How would you go about valuing a 72 Pack jungle unlimited?

I’ve thought about a few methods and really wasn’t sure since its not a booster box/less desirable?

you should open it and check for no symbol

Sell it to me for a good price sealed as is

I also bought lots of no symbol, symbol cards and a booster box from the same fella.

He said he only got booster boxes and the long packs. So either my booster box or these long packs have no symbol cards.

Are they same ratio light to heavy as a box would be?

Yep.

24 Heavies and 48 Lights.

Thought provoking valuation question to say the least… sealed boxes go for X, unweighed box break sealed packs go for X+Y (premium over box price —> let breaker net some profit regardless of at what price and moment of the market he bought into it right). Loose packs go for X-Y, unless weighed where heavies get X+2Y and maybe lights X-2Y…

You have a sealed case —> can organise a break, weigh them, pack them against a card saver and into a team up bag and a tamper seal (weighing to prove the ratio you’re suggesting is true), mix them up, draw and sell. In this case you take the premium like breaking a sealed box situation?

Sell case sealed, *although* unless the person buying is just a seriously avid sealed collector / blister collector whatever, he would likely be looking to either break it up and resell or maybe crack and grade. Does it command the same price as 2 sealed boxes? Since there is 0 display eye appeal or even nostalgic relationship / collector attraction to a minty fresh sealed booster box?

Then again, why discount it against that if the individual is going to break it anyways and sell individually, etc. 2 x Booster box should = case of 72 blisters at this point? But would definitely be a more controversial statement felt by the sealed box collectors and the value of their boxes…

 you’re in a pickle.

At the *same* time, I can only assume that a case of these might be scarcer in context of how often they pop up, I don’t know specifics or if there’s some agreed Poke Folklore about some dude(s) with cases of these they let out in the market slowly like we see with the theme decks… but if it’s genuinely scarcer, then it might actually command a premium to the right collector?

In any case if you actually do decide to break this and at a price that seems to make sense, count me in and definitely a few people around me! Minty fresh jungle sealed blister?! With the new blister acrylic cases I’m seeing pop up… ouf :fire:

Based on box prices 18-20k, if it’s still sealed you might be able to get more
