Something to note is technically those in the U.S. can’t bet on these markets yet as polymarket is partially/heavily restricted, but there are obviously ways around this.
this is genuinely awful
thank gawd there user base prolly only knows modern junk ![]()
Whole thing sounds lame
But hey, if it makes money its good right?!
You don’t think daytrading Pokemon card derivatives is cool?!
No!

These markets look so thin in liquidity youll make more by placing limit orders and collecting liquidity rewards. (polymarket will pay you to place an order, regardless if order is filled)
Guessing logan pauls illustrator final sale price was a much better bet then guessing perfect order etb price by a specific date.
Also they use collectr as the price resolver, Gross
I wouldn’t recommend gambling on an outcome that can be fairly easily to manipulate with a few discord groups.
The stupidity continues. What a joke
Is that what all these discord groups are actually about? I have never joined a Discord ![]()
I’ve collected cards as a child, an adolescent, a teen, and as an adult. I understand the rose-colored glasses bias, but it used to be more enjoyable when it was simpler.
I feel quite sad for young people who will never experience what collecting cards used to be like. There are ways to find pieces of that original collecting experience, but it’s becoming harder and harder as markets and social circles elicit and reward a certain type of participation.
Solutions like deleting social media and going hermit mode offer some solace, but they are at the cost of lessened social interaction and buying opportunities that could dramatically improve your collection or experience.
Anyway, not all is lost. Find what brings you joy and block out the deafening noise.
